(Hamilton Township, Mercer County, NJ) William Penn Bank, through their charitable foundation (William Penn Bank Community Foundation) was proud to make a charitable contribution in support of the Miracle League of Mercer County.
The William Penn Bank Community Foundation focuses on programs in our local communities that support community and economic development, health care and human services, and education.
“We are honored to be able to play a small part and help support an amazing organization that has done so much for the special needs community, not only right here in Hamilton, but through out our greater Mercer County area” explained Jeannine Cimino, Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Officer of William Penn Bank.
Founded in 1998 the Miracle League of Mercer County the Miracle League of Mercer County has served the greater central New Jersey region – Mercer, Burlington, Ocean, Monmouth, Hunterdon, & Middlesex Counties – and Bucks County, PA in providing fully inclusive baseball programs to individuals with special needs. They now provide unique, fun experiences for our athletes 12 months per year.
“We are grateful to receive this $2,000 grant from the William Penn Bank Community Foundation. Because of generosity like this, our Miracle League can continue to expand our annual operating budget to provide more opportunities and new programs to our players with special needs; programs like our new inclusive travel baseball program – the first of it’s kind in the country.
